THE OBJECTIVES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE FRIENDS:
To work with and assist the The Churches Conservation Trust in the care and preservation of the contents and church of
Old Christ Church, Waterloo, which is vested in the Trust, inter alia, in the following ways:-
1.Encourage the use of the church for community activities.
2.Publicise the existence of the church by making contact with local tourist boards, businesses, etc. and encourage visitors
to the church.
3.To hold events to raise funds on behalf of the Association.
4.On occasional, specific days, man the church and take guided tours.
5.Make contact with local schools and encourage their use of the church for educational visits.
6.Ensure the church is in a clean and tidy condition, open and welcoming to visitors.
7.Ensure that all Trust literature is prominently displayed.
8.Assist with the preparation of the church for occasional services.
9.Report any defects or problems to the Trust.
