Here we'll list events and activities scheduled for the next few months. We'll update this page regularly, so check back often to stay up to date.

Because of the lack of adequate heating our activities in the church have to be curtailed between the months of November to April although we do hope to continue with our hosting of the Waterloo Flea Markets on the first Saturday of each month starting in September and finishing in May.

The Waterloo Flea Market
The Last Flea Market before Christmas
An all indoor event with up to 80 stalls and regularly attracting over 400 visitors.
 
 
Friday 13th November
12.00 - 5.00pm (Free Entry)
Farmers' Market and Food Fayre
Quality produce because only the best will do!
 
Meat, eggs, pies, vegetables,cheese,bread,,fruit, jams, soaps,pate, chocolates, olives,pickles, ciders, ales, handmade cards, crafts  and more.......
 
 
Saturday 14th November 2009
Christmas Fair. 
10am to 4pm. (free entry to the public) 
 
Last year our Christmas fair was a real success and we all enjoyed it very much and we anticipate the same for this year. We shall have an array of unique stalls for individual Christmas gifts.
 
PLUS
 
The Lancashire Owls so come along and have your photo taken with these magnificent creatures. Go to our links page!
 
Face Painting You could even look like an owl for the day, or maybe the church mouse. Have your face painted and join in the fun.
 
A Young Artist Competition Draw or Paint a Christmas picture and bring it along to our Christmas fair.There will be three age categories and the winner of each will receive a prize.
(Children must be accompanied by an adult)
The competition will be judge by our committee members panel.
All entries must be handed in at the Christmas fair before 2:00 pm
The winners will be announced at 3:00 pm
 
There will also be a Christmas Food Hamper to be won in our raffle donated by myself and my mother Mrs Shirley Evans. Thanks Mum! 
 
Come along and browse the stalls, view the childrens art work, see the owls or simply have a cup of tea in our cafe and chat with friends.
 
We hope you will enjoy your visit at Old Christ Church.

'In Another Place'
‘In Another Place’ will create  ‘The Narnia Experience’ inside the church with access to primary schools during the week and open to the public at weekends.
